What Is Spatial Memory Training?
Spatial (visuospatial) working memory is the cognitive ability to temporarily hold and mentally manipulate the locations of objects in space. It is a key component of executive function and is closely linked to performance in mathematics, navigation, and learning.
In this game, a sequence of grid cells flashes in a specific order. Your task is to reproduce that exact sequence from memory. Each correct round lengthens the sequence, progressively challenging your brain.
How to Play
- Press Start — watch the highlighted cells carefully.
- After the sequence ends, tap the cells in the same order.
- Correct answer → next level (longer sequence).
- Wrong answer → back to level 1.
Brain Health Benefits
Regular spatial memory exercises have been associated with improvements in working memory capacity, attention span, and cognitive reserve — factors that may help reduce the risk of age-related cognitive decline. This app was designed by a neuroscientist for daily brain health practice.
